Trout master fly rod uplocking component build kit  for single handed fly rods #5 - 8

Suitable for blanks with a butt diameter not exceding 10.3mm (please check before purchase).  On request we can supply a butt OD reducing spigot to mount this kit on a rod with a butt OD or more than10.3mm, and fitting instructions.

A convenient and affordable build kit with good value and quality components that will serve you well, saving around 10% compared to buying the components individually.

Handle: Good Cork grade 7" silim full wells provided as standard, or select the 'fishtail' RHW grip if you prefer.  Optional upgrade to Great Cork grade. The handle will be inlet to fit the supplied reel seat.  If you buy the kit with one of our blanks in the same order, we will also ream the grip to fit the blank.

Fighting butt: Rods #5-#6 supplied with a 19mm short fighting butt, rods #7-#8 supplies with a 30mm fighting butt.

Seat: SUL2  uplocking reel seat with two lock rings, wood insert and a fighting butt trim band. Silver-Chrome finish with default brown Sandalwood insert. Black/TiCH or Grey metallic finish with default red Paduak insert.  Send us a message at check out if you would prefer the other insert colour rather than the default.  

Guides: Appropriately sized Pac Bay or Seaguide snake or single foot guide set, colour matched to the reel seat.  Select the colour, line rating and rod length you require.

For rods up to 9', we provide nine running guides starting size #1 and one stripping guide (either standard lined or anti-tangle lined), a hook keeper and a standard loop tip ring. Ten running guides plus two strippers (#10 + #12) are provided in the 9'-11' length option.
