Coffee coloured Agate stripping guides

Fantastic quality agate stripping guides made by Perfect Europe.  Brazed low profile nickel silver frame tapering to well shaped point for neat thread wrapping stocked in sizes 10 and 12, with a small selection in size 16.

Coffee (mid-brown to almost black) natural stone agate rings, most with pale or white striped or banded markings. As a general guide we have indicated whether the coffee stones in a given size and metal frame finish are lighter or darker in colour.  Lighter stones are also more translucent.  If both options are available, you can choose which colour you prefer.   Current stocks in #12 Black nickel are dark coffee or dark mixed with clear opaque, with no stripes or bands (shown in picure 6).

Subject to availability guide frames can be selected in bright nickel silver, blued nickel silver (soft pewter grey) and a shinier black nickel gunsmoke finish. We specify and supply Perfect Europe agate guides with a grooved foot to sit better on round glass and carbon blanks. Struble agates with flat guide feet are listed separately.

The photographed examples are representative.  Each agate stone is unique and you will receive one of generally similar colour and markings to those pictured for the metal frame size and finish selected. When a new batch of guides is received the photographs are updated if we deem it necessary to fairly represent the product.

Options

Nickel silver guides can be blued (darkened) on request (+£3 allow 3 days). Blueing leaves a pewter grey oxidised layer that is polished. It wears over time to an attractive antiqued patina.
